Our Artisan Partners
Every COPERARI piece begins with people.
Our artisan partners bring generations of knowledge, technical skill and creative insight to every collection. Their expertise is not simply part of the process. It shapes the work itself.
We see craftsmanship as a shared creative practice, where ideas evolve through conversation, experimentation and mutual respect.
Craft as a Living Practice
COPERARI works alongside artisan partners in Oaxaca, Mexico and Rajasthan, India, where traditional techniques have been practised, refined and passed from one generation to the next.
From hand weaving and natural dyeing in Oaxaca to hand block printing, tufting and embroidery in Rajasthan, every technique reflects a deep understanding of materials, process and place.
Traditional craftsmanship is not something to be preserved behind glass. It remains alive through the people who continue to practise it, refine it and share it with future generations. We believe thoughtful collaboration helps create opportunities for these remarkable skills to continue evolving while remaining deeply connected to their cultural origins.
Made With Care
Every material is selected with intention, and every technique is chosen for both its beauty and its purpose.
Every decision we make considers more than the finished object. It considers the people who make it, the knowledge they carry, the materials they work with and the communities in which these traditions continue to thrive.
Natural fibres, thoughtful sourcing and considered production remain central to our work, but care extends beyond the objects we create. It is reflected in the relationships we build, the choices we make and our commitment to creating pieces that honour both people and place.
The most meaningful objects are rarely created by one person alone. They are shaped through many hands, many conversations and a shared commitment to making something that will endure.
