I’ve lived with Nikki and Jodi’s creativity in my home for years. Long before this rug collection launched, I had already collected and lived alongside Jodi Clark’s artwork, pieces that bring so much joy, color, and personality into a space. So when Nikki created this new collection and translated that artistic world into handmade rugs, I was beyond excited and immediately bought several.

Over the past year, I’ve lived with Nikki’s rugs across a couple of homes, from my Brooklyn warehouse apartment to my California bungalow, and they have quickly become some of the most loved pieces I own. The quality is incredible. They are thick, soft, and genuinely luxurious to walk on. They are the statement in the room. Everyone notices them the second they walk in.

What makes the collection even more special is the story behind it. Nikki has always had that rare mix of great taste, bold originality, and real heart. She has lived in Mexico, spent time in India, and built meaningful relationships with makers and artisans along the way. You can feel that in the work. The craftsmanship is beautiful and the pieces feel connected to culture and people, not trends. The designs carry the unmistakable signature of Jodi’s art, and together they’ve created something that feels truly special and collectible.

Nikki is also an incredible ceramicist, and her work in clay has always carried the same spirit: playful, elevated, and full of soul. Watching her bring her artistic world into this new collection, in collaboration with her sister, feels like the perfect next chapter. Nikki has been one of my dearest friends for over twenty years, and I am so proud of her. I’m also just genuinely happy that I get to live with these pieces every day.
